The King Street Design Walk is tonight, so be sure to stop into Fish to say hello and grab a cocktail or some dinner. We’ll have the lovely songbird Elise Testone belting out soulful tunes, so stop in after scoping out the rest of our neighborhood.

Also make sure to check out the BMW motorcycles next door at SieMatic. Managing partner Randall Goldman had a hand in bringing both modern and classic style BMW displays to the store. Patrick Properties Events knows good style! We’ll also be at the Cannon Elliot Lounge at 45 John Street, so make sure to grab some info for your upcoming event. Holidays are just around the corner…

They say pictures are worth a thousand words, so instead of attempting to pen a small novel explaining all that has been happening at PP lately, here are some pictures of our staff and recent events in our little world:

Chef de Cuisine Charron Henry & Executive Chef Nico Romo are busy finalizing the new Fall menu for Fish that will launch Wednesday. Next project? Predator & Prey dinner for Halloween. Details to come.

We're always working hard to create one-of-a-kind events at all of our properties. Well worth it for beautiful moments like this one for Libba & Tyler at their Lowndes Grove wedding.

: No, it’s not a PP staffer. It’s a member of the Charleston Ballet Theatre! We’re gearing up for Brad & Janet’s Wedding Reception at Fish (aka the CBT’s Rocky Horror after party) Nov. 23, 24, 30 and 31. We’ve got a hearse, we’ve got costumes, we’ve got themed cocktails… it’ll be nuts.

It’s been busy, but it’s been a lot of fun. Coming up this week: Upper King Design Walk is Thursday so put on your comfy walking shoes and head up to our neighborhood to see all the new shops and visit the old favorites. Fish will be open to quench your thirst and feed the appetite you worked up after all of that shopping. See you Thursday!

Happy Beast Cancer Awareness Month!

Fish has paired with our Upper King neighbors Salon Couture for an event to benefit the Charleston Breast Center. This Wednesday, October 7th, Salon Couture will be giving $15 pink Great Lengths hair extensions and donating $5 from each to the center. Reservations are recommended.

After you get your hair done walk on down to Fish to enjoy a “Pour for the Cure” cocktail special, $1 of each will be donated to the Charleston Breast Center, or a dinner special that will donate $5 to the center.

Don’t forget to take a look at our Lowcountry Pink for the Cure window display to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Race for the Cure.

Scenes from the Potluck & Best Mother’s Day Gift Idea

Can’t begin to tell you how lovely yesterday’s 2nd Annual Lowcountry Local First Chef’s Potluck was. The weather was absolutely pristine: warm and sunny with a light breeze. Delicious local food and drink, the sultry sounds of Elise Testone, Matt Chase and friends and a warm and laidback crowd of local folks made for the most wonderful Sunday I’ve spent in months.

Check out our photosand videos as well as a great piece by The Digitel. Wonderful to see local producers like Rita Bachmann out and about enjoying the day and meeting the folks who appreciate the fruits (and veggies) of her labor!

In other news, we’re very excited to announce our Spring/Summer Specials for our super luxe accommodations at Lowndes Grove and The William Aiken House.
