The King Street Design Walk is tonight, so be sure to stop into Fish to say hello and grab a cocktail or some dinner. We’ll have the lovely songbird Elise Testone belting out soulful tunes, so stop in after scoping out the rest of our neighborhood.

Also make sure to check out the BMW motorcycles next door at SieMatic. Managing partner Randall Goldman had a hand in bringing both modern and classic style BMW displays to the store. Patrick Properties Events knows good style! We’ll also be at the Cannon Elliot Lounge at 45 John Street, so make sure to grab some info for your upcoming event. Holidays are just around the corner…

See you tonight!

$1 dim sum. Hello, crab wonton and pork dumpling. You are both beautiful and delicious. Now, get in my belly.

Hitachino Nest White Ale. Japanese beer that is so good you may weep.

The glass hanging on fish hooks above the bar. Um, don’t eat it. Look at it. It’s pretty. It’s relaxing to look at. And, it comes from factory windows in the upstate of South Carolina. Really. Ask your bartender for the story.

Elise Testone. Our Thursday evening songstress. FACT: You can’t be around Elise and not enjoy yourself. Guaranteed enjoyment.

The conversations. FACT: seriously interesting people visit our bar and lots of them have great stories. We like that.

So much going on, Internet, where to begin? Okay, Team Goldman is back stateside after a two week jaunt across Paris, Florence, Dubrovnik and other as yet unnamed locales. I’m headed out of town tommorrow for a visit to the parental units, and the whole city is abuzz with all things Spoletian. It’s a lot to handle, but I know you can do it.

Should you be out and about this evening, our favorite chanteuse Elise Testone is back in the house at Fish. In case you hadn’t heard, she opened for Snoop Dogg last week. Yes. Really! Stop by, have a delicious Happy Hour cocktail and ask Elise to regale with you tour bus tales! (Nothing scandalous, people. This is a family blog.)

In fun and interesting marketing news, I must borrow from Maggie at MightyGirl. As you know, we here at Team PP get to be on the inside of tons of lovely weddings. We also get the pleasure of seeing quite a bit of fantastic photography. But, what I have personally NOT seen is a wedding video quite like this. I say: do away with all other forms of wedding video and simply choose a fantastic song. (You can’t really go wrong with Freddie Mercury, can you?)

Now, before I head out, I do promise to write a post from the Buckeye state. It may even be deep-fried, you never can tell. Until then, keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars. (Please comment if you know from whence that quote springs.)

Aren’t you sweet for asking? It was swell, dear. Let me tell you.

Spent some time with our friends at Blue Ion this afternoon running through a final perusal of our new eblast system. Prepare yourselves for fantastic design, outlandish tales of wonder and more!

Incidentally, if you haven’t been by B.I.’s temporary space, you should check it out. Apparently it’s an old DEA building (bars on windows and all). It feels very dentist office-y. When I walked into the main room on the first floor where RP and DW sit, I told them I had left my insurance card with the receptionist. It’s THAT dental office-esque. Still a cool space though, especially on the second floor where MH resides in a room that is sooooo reminiscient of Greg Brady’s attic pad. They should definitely buy some beads and just complete the look.

In other news, PP is abuzz with activity. Tonight there’s a wedding at The American Theater, ceremony rehearsal at Lowndes Grove and a rehearsal dinner at Fish.

And, one last reminder, people! If you haven’t yet purchased your tickets to the Lowcountry Local First 2nd Annual Chef’s Feast, there are still tickets left! Go.Here.Now! Fantastic local food, drink and sweets as far as the eye can see. Live music by Miss Elise Testone. Good folks, too.

And now, I must away. $3 Stella Artois at Fish calling my name. Yes, really.
