Sunset at the South Carolina Aquarium

Last night’s sold out Wine on the Water at the South Carolina Aquarium was fantastic. Friendly folks, great food and a most excellent sunset. Check out photos  here. Nico and Jodie dished up mini bowls of our delicious bouillabaisse, and it was gone faster than you could say sustainable seafood. Many thanks to Megan Westmeyer who’s hardworking, gracious and a pure joy to be around.

P.S. Yes, I saw the penguins. They are awesome, even if they were napping at the time. Dance, penguins, DANCE!

Prices start at $25 per person. General managers Ashley Gunnin at Lowndes Grove and Kristen Rowe at The William Aiken House and The American Theater will lead the tours that cover interesting moments in the properties’ histories and insights on our meticulous renovation process. And, I’m there will be secrets you’ll only hear if you take the tour.
