Hi! Have a good weekend? I sure did. Fish Manager Evan Powell and I kicked it off early on Thursday at the Bombay Sapphire party. Although he didn’t win the cocktail contest, we had a great time with DJ Todd Cadley and a fellow PatPropper. Good people, good times.

Friday was a little nuts, as always, here in the LLC office with people passing in and out. Notably, a very concerned gentleman came in that afternoon after seeing a dog locked in a car outside the American Theater. He said that the dog looked like it had been there for a while and was very hot. Naturally, we called the police immediately and gave the dog some water through the cracked window. Elizabeth (our HR/Operations guru) stayed with the gentleman until they came to let the dog out of the car and give the dog’s owner a good strong talkin’ to. Charleston in the summer is uncomfortable for us humans, but can be downright dangerous for our furry friends. Thanks to Elizabeth and the good-Samaritan the pup was fine.

On Saturday night William Aiken House played host to the Army Wives wrap party. The cast are regulars for Fish’s Mercy of the Chef on Tuesdays, so it was great to have them enjoy another one of our properties over the weekend. Don’t forget, Fish has 1/2 priced select bottles of wine tonight from 5:30 – 8 pm. The perfect way to finish off a Monday afternoon.
