What a interesting bit of information. I would go to the American on Saturdays as a child (the 50s) to watch serials.Buck Rogers, Superman, etc. I believe the cost to get in was 25 cents. Thank you for taking me down memory lane.

Lovely cake. I bet that it was mighty tasty too. The croque-em-bouche part must have been pretty strong to hold up the entire aquarium. Although it looks like I can see a nice foundation in there!

Congratulations Fish! That is quite an honor to be selected for first place in the Oronoco Rum cocktail contest and this cocktails sounds so refreshing that I can taste it!!! It affected all of my senses just reading about it!

Chef Romo served 6 courses: Escargot, frog legs with zucchini, bouillabaisse, beef tartar with poached egg dumpling, pain perdu & a trio of desserts, one of which included a sour gummy worm (talk about creative!). We’ve put photos of each on our facebook page.
