That little waterfront estate of ours over in Wagener Terrace? You know, Lowndes Grove? Yes? She (yes, she) is quite the mysterious starlet. Don’t you love a blog series?! Okay, whilst in Findlay, Ohio (reminder: Flag City, USA), my Mom and I paid a visit to another mainstay on the local scene, Dark Horse Restaurant. From the outside, Dark Horse is quite unremarkable and honestly, if you weren’t looking for it, you might drive right by. There is, [...]

So much going on, Internet, where to begin? Okay, Team Goldman is back stateside after a two week jaunt across Paris, Florence, Dubrovnik and other as yet unnamed locales. I’m headed out of town tommorrow for a visit to the parental units, and the whole city is abuzz with all things Spoletian. It’s a lot [...]

When you first enter the front gate at Lowndes Grove, you don’t even see the River House. In fact, the River House has its own separate entrance, but I enjoy the fact that it’s not readily seen. It sort of plays things cool. The truth is, the River House was a bit of an ugly duckling [...]

Although you certainly can’t tell by today’s weather, the Charleston summer is nearly upon us. And that means vacation, long relaxing days and all the fun you can possibly handle. Oh, and humidity. Lots of it. With all that in mind, we here at PP HQ have been hard at work putting together some fabulous accommodation packages for [...]

Last night’s sold out Wine on the Water at the South Carolina Aquarium was fantastic. Friendly folks, great food and a most excellent sunset. Check out photos  here. Nico and Jodie dished up mini bowls of our delicious bouillabaisse, and it was gone faster than you could say sustainable seafood. Many thanks to Megan Westmeyer who’s [...]

Nico and Jodie are getting ready to head over to the Aquarium for tonight’s sold out Wine on the Water event. (I am now singing “Smoke on the Water” in my head, even though it’s so.not.the.same.thing. But I digress.) As you might guess, there will both wine and water. And live music and delicious food by [...]
